Words in "The voice"

There are some words which does not even exist on the dictionary or word that represent other, here are some words.
 air-blue gown : Air- blue color is mostly very clear and bright color, which means Thomas Hardy's memory of his wife is clear and positive.

 listlessness : Someone who is listless has no energy or enthusiasm, it is written in the form of noun which is hard to pronounce. and it shows that writer is actually trying to break the rhythm

 whistlessness : it means someone is not paying complete attention to a person or thing, which often causes an accident or problems. this is written in noun and it doesnt exist on dictionary. Here it also shows that writer is trying to break the rhythm

 wet mead : mead is filed, medow, area where its is all grass, here wet mead can mean lonliness as meadow is area where it is empty. Also, wet can mean sadness.

 Wan : This means pale, and blury. This can suggest that memory of his wife is slowly fading and it is not clear now.

 faltering : If something falters, it loses power or strength in an uneven way, or no longer makes much progress. In the poem, this can mean writer is hard to get on with his life with out his wife.

 Ooze : When a thick or sticky liquid oozes from something or when something oozes it, the liquid flows slowly and in small quantities. This is more negative word to describe something, this suggest that writer's negative state

 Thorn : Thorns are the sharp points on some plants and trees, for example on a rose bush. In the poem it can be used to describe hurting, and uncomfortable life of the writer with out his wife.
